MING’s new 20.01 Series 5 is the embodiment of haute horlogerie with a sci-fi soul, where watchmaking meets art in miniature. The watch’s standout feature is its dial, laser-milled from a single block of titanium into complex radial strakes with both vertical and horizontal planes, then vapor-coated in deep blue and selectively laser-etched to expose bare stonewashed titanium edges. The result is a depth effect resembling a fan blade or starship engine, both futuristic and tactile.

Inside the 41.5 mm case lies the Agenhor AgenGraphe 6361.M1, a manual-wind chronograph movement featuring a central chronograph core, a backlash-free gear train, a horizontal clutch, and instantaneous jumping minutes. Finished to MING’s specs—with rose gold-coated bridges, polished anglage, twin barrels, and a hard winding stop—the movement offers around 55 hours of power and tactile winding feedback.

Encased in a hybrid of stainless steel (bezel, lugs, crown) and DLC titanium (case band), with color-matched titanium pushers and sapphire scales, this watch mixes refined construction with aggressive styling. The sapphire crystal is lasered with scales and filled with “Polar White” lume, while the hands glow blue under Super-LumiNova X1—creating an otherworldly nighttime look.
Wearing comfortably despite its complexity, the watch features a dark blue Alcantara case with a “flying blade” buckle, paired with a sporty black FKM strap. With its bold machining, high-end movement, and limited run of only 25 pieces at $46,100, the 20.01 Series 5 is a statement: a rare blend of craftsmanship, design audacity, and sci-fi fantasy that’s as mesmerizing as it’s mechanical. The watch will be available for purchase on June 24, 2025, at 1 PM GMT.
