Lionsgate has released the first official teaser for Michael, the highly anticipated biopic chronicling the rise, reign, and complicated legacy of Michael Jackson, the King of Pop. Directed by Antoine Fuqua, the film aims to bring an intimate yet cinematic look at one of the most influential performers in music history—one whose impact continues to shape culture decades after his peak.

In a move that has generated massive early buzz, Jackson will be portrayed by his real-life nephew, Jaafar Jackson, whose uncanny resemblance and vocal ability have already sparked viral conversations. The film also assembles an impressive cast: Miles Teller stars as longtime attorney John Branca, Colman Domingo as patriarch Joe Jackson, and Nia Long as matriarch Katherine Jackson.
