For more than a decade, H. Moser & Cie has worked with MB&F by providing the watchmaker with balance springs through its subsidiary Precision Engineering. Now, the two companies have partnered to release the limited edition MB&F x H. Moser Watch Collection. Each edition of the MB&F x H. Moser LM101 and Endeavour Cylindrical Tourbillon are limited to just 15 carefully crafted examples.
The LM101 MB&F x H. Moser places a clean fumé dial at the core of each 40mm stainless steel case in either a Funky Blue, Red, Cosmic Green, or Aqua Blue colorway. The latter of those dials is manufactured exclusively for Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons. The intricate manual-winding movement is made of 221 components, including 23 jewels, that combine to give the 14mm double hairspring flying balancing wheel at the watch’s core a 45-hour power reserve.
Meanwhile, the Endeavour Cylindrical Tourbillon H. Moser x MB&F takes a different yet equally intricate approach. This piece of the MB&F x H. Moser Watch Collection showcases a one-minute flying tourbillon that settles above the dial at 12 o’clock. The face of the watch provides a surreptitious view of the hour and minute indicators to the wearer by placing each at a 40º angle. This perspective is made possible by a 42mm steel case that is 19.5mm thick which is capped off by a domed sapphire crystal that comfortably hosts the three-dimensional movement under its protection. The HMC 810 calibre automatic movement of the Endeavour Cylindrical Tourbillon has a power reserve of 72 hours. Like the LM101, this expression is also available in 4 different colorways limited to 15 pieces of each, making each piece in this collection one to covet.
