In an exclusive collaboration that bridges the worlds of sports and style, Maurice de Mauriac has joined forces with Racquet Magazine to unveil the stunning RALLYMASTER II wristwatch. Perfectly capturing the essence of tennis on and off the court, this remarkable timepiece is a nod to vintage design, blending form and function in one exceptional package.
The brainchild of designer Carlton DeWoody, renowned for his mastery in interior design, the RALLYMASTER II draws inspiration from the captivating graphic dials of the 60s and 70s. DeWoody’s passion for tennis and a keen eye for vintage watches make him the ideal collaborator for this partnership between Racquet, Maurice de Mauriac, and DeWoody himself.
Elevating the excitement, the RALLYMASTER II is available for pre-order during the US Open, with sales concluding when the last ball is struck in the tournament. All orders will be meticulously crafted and delivered by December, but once this window closes, the RALLYMASTER II will be gone for good, making it a truly limited-edition masterpiece.
The watch showcases a striking blue dial with applied index markers, capturing the sport’s vibrant energy. Notable features include a small seconds display in 20-second increments, reminiscent of the tennis serve timer, and a lollipop second-hand coated with neon yellow luminous material, ensuring readability even in low-light conditions.
Underneath the surface, a Landeron 24 Automatic Swiss Movement with 25 jewels powers the RALLYMASTER II, vibrating at a frequency of 4Hz. The 39mm stainless steel case (12mm thick) with a 47mm lug-to-lug measurement offers a comfortable, compact fit on the wrist. The exhibition caseback proudly displays a mid-century style tennis logo, showcasing the intricate craftsmanship within.
Each RALLYMASTER II arrives in a collector’s box, accompanied by a custom pink tennis ball and two quick-release, two-piece stretch NATO straps available in blue or pink. With its limited production and a price tag of $1,950, this wristwatch is set to redefine the realm of sports-inspired luxury.
