Luxury Swiss watchmaker Longines has crafted a beautifully simple watch with rich styling, practical usage, and classic lines. The new Longines Pilot Majetek features a distinctive style propelled by a strong and bold history. The Pilot Majetek is part of Longines’s Famed heritage Avigation lineup and is available in three variations, including a special box edition.
The watch features a simple design with a matte black face, stainless steel bezel, and silver-plated hands. Bold gold-tone numerals dot the face, and the dial features a small second hand at the 6’oclock position. The face is protected by sapphire crystal, creating a durable, scratch-resistant case with anti-reflective properties.
In the spirit of aviation, the watch features a fluted rotating bezel displaying a “starting time indicator,” rarely seen in watch designs. Adding this fun feature proved to be a challenge for the Longines watchmakers. A self-winding automatic movement, notably an L893 caliber, powers the Pilot Majetek. The movement has a power reserve of 72 hours, and the watch is waterproof to 10 bar.
There are three versions of the new Longines Majetek watch available. They include a version with a brown leather strap with beige stitching (L2.838.4.53.0), a version with a dark green leather strap with beige stitching (L2.838.4.53.2), and one with a khaki-green NATO strap made of recycled material (L2.838.4.53.8).
The Longines Pilot Majetek watch is an excellent addition to any watch collection. The special box edition comes with a custom-crafted box that securely holds the Longines Pilot Majetek and a secondary strap made from recycled materials. The total collection has a five-year warranty and is priced starting at $3,750.
