Swiss watchmaker Longines has unveiled a comprehensive redesign of its HydroConquest dive‑watch line. The new models come in 39mm and 42mm stainless‑steel cases, striking a balance between daily wearability and serious underwater capability. Five ceramic bezel colors — black, luminous blue, dark blue, slate gray and green — frame polished lacquer dials available in deep blue, black or green, along with a frosted blue sunray finish.

The unidirectional bezels now incorporate polished ceramic inserts with a luminous capsule at 12 o’clock and updated knurling for improved grip. Applied hour markers with generous Super‑LumiNova make the watches legible in low light, while screw‑down crowns and solid casebacks ensure water resistance to 300m.

Inside each case beats the proprietary Longines calibre L888.5, an automatic movement featuring a silicon balance spring and a 72‑hour power reserve. The movement is chronometer‑certified and resists magnetic fields, underscoring Longines’ commitment to precision.

Buyers can choose between an H‑link steel bracelet or a supple Milanese mesh bracelet equipped with a micro‑adjustment clasp — a first for the collection — that allows for quick sizing changes on the wrist. Optional rubber straps complement the sportier dial colors. The redesign also introduces a new case architecture with flowing lugs and slimmer proportions, giving the HydroConquest a more refined profile while retaining its robust tool‑watch character.
Longines positions the HydroConquest as a watch that bridges adventure and elegance. The 39mm variant caters to those with smaller wrists or a preference for vintage‑inspired sizing, while the 42mm version offers bolder wrist presence.
Prices range from $2,200 to $2,400 depending on configuration. With the update, Longines brings its signature dive watch in line with contemporary tastes without sacrificing the technical credentials that have made the collection a favorite among enthusiasts.
