Farer, the British watchmaker known for its distinctive timepieces, has just announced a fresh and vibrant offering that’s sure to captivate watch enthusiasts and fashion-forward individuals alike. Introducing the Farer Chrono Contempo Collection, a contemporary take on the classic chronograph watch, inspired by the bold colors of two of London’s most lively streets.
The collection comprises two standout models, The Chalcot and The Portobello, each priced at $1,850. Both are 38.5mm and are powered by the Swiss Sellita SW510M b movement. These watches are a testament to Farer’s commitment to precision craftsmanship and attention to detail.
The Chalcot, named after the charming Chalcot Square in London, boasts a steel chronograph case with a textured mint dial. Its bidirectional twelve-hour bezel and St. Venere leather strap add a touch of sophistication to the watch’s playful design. The “Big Eye” chronograph sub-dial in white stands out against the mint green backdrop, ensuring easy readability. Brightly colored hands, filled with BGW9 Super-LumiNova, provide excellent low-light legibility, while the fluorescent orange chronograph seconds hand adds a burst of contrast.
In contrast, the Portobello takes inspiration from London’s iconic Portobello Road. With its steel chronograph case, blue textured grid dial, and glossy orange ceramic bezel, this watch exudes charisma. The “Orangina” colored bezel perfectly complements the navy dial, and the watch features luminous BGW9 Super-LumiNova markers and hands for excellent visibility. Both models in the Chrono Contempo Collection are available for pre-order now and will be delivered on October 26th.
