There’s an iconic scene in the film Inception where a several city blocks fold on top of itself. It’s one of those scenes that present a simple idea that is visually compelling and stunning, leaving a permanent mark on cinema history.
Inspired by the film, furniture and product designer Stelios Mousarris has created the Wave City Coffee Table made from a combination of woodwork, metalwork, and 3D printing technology to recreate the details of a dense cityscape. Although the flat surface on top offers plenty of area for your coffee and other items, we have a feeling that most will spend more time lying under the table to admire what’s underneath.
