That certainly didn’t take too long. Ever since Clarkson was involved in a ‘fracas’ with one of the producers at Top Gear — the motoring show that has millions of fans and car enthusiasts glued to the TV — it seems that the Top Gear trio of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May will be back soon in a new motoring program on Amazon Prime.
We were sad to see Top Gear lose its hosts, officially marking an end of an era. However, we are also excited for the new show which will be produced by Top Gear producer and longtime working partner of Clarkson, Andy Wilman. The new format of Top Gear that was introduced back in 2002 was the brainchild of Clarkson and Wilman, so with the two teaming up together for the new show we’re sure to expect something exciting, since the team will have more creative freedom and control than their days with the BBC.
The new show will globally stream exclusively on Amazon Prime sometime in 2016.
