Jaeger-LeCoultre continues to dazzle collectors with its latest iteration of the iconic Reverso Tribute Chronograph, now crafted in full 18-karat pink gold. This limited-edition masterpiece fuses Art Deco heritage with modern horology, delivering a technically complex and visually breathtaking piece.
The solid pink gold case measures 49.4 x 29.9mm, featuring laser-engraved horizontal lines that extend the Reverso’s trademark gadroon pattern. The dial, indices, pin buckles, and even the bridges of the manually wound Calibre 860 movement are rendered in solid gold, earning this release the distinction of “full gold.” On the front, the gold dial provides a classic display. At the same time, the reverse showcases the open-worked movement, revealing intricate details such as a visible balance wheel and column wheel, with retrograde chronograph minutes elegantly displayed at 6 o’clock.
This high-functioning chronograph nods to its 1996 predecessor, incorporating the same retrograde complication: the minutes are counted on an arc and snap back at completion. The slim 11.14mm case houses the intricate Caliber 860, which beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour, offers a 52-hour power reserve, and comprises over 300 components.
Limited to just 250 pieces, this $66,000 watch includes two quick-release straps: a black alligator strap and a tan calf leather strap from Casa Fagliano.
