The IWC Pilot’s Watch Timezoner Edition “Le Petit Prince” is the luxury brand’s latest addition to its sub-series that pays tribute to French aviator/author Antoine Saint-Exupéry and his most famous literary work, “Le Petit Prince.” This watch represents the first use of the Timezoner function in a Le Petit Prince timepiece. This function enables the user to effortlessly change between different time zones by simply pressing and turning the bezel to the desired location.
The aesthetically pleasing 46mm timepiece features sapphire glass with an anti-reflective coating, a midnight-blue dial with white numerals and hands, and a blue ceramic bezel. The “Le Petit Prince” Pilot’s Watch features a power reserve of 60 hours and an IWC-manufactured 82760 calibre movement. The movement, visible behind a sapphire caseback, features IWC’s bidirectional Pellaton winding system and incorporates virtually wear-free components made of zirconium oxide ceramic. Like its siblings in the “Le Petit Prince” family, the watch has a golden badge with an engraved depiction of Saint-Exupéry’s titular character on the rotor, adding a whimsical note to this elegant timepiece.
