Hublot is celebrating its 40th anniversary in style. Harkening back to the Hublot Classic Original 1980 watch, the release of the Hublot Classic Fusion 40 Years Anniversary Collection fuses modern and traditional sensibilities. The 45mm Classic Fusion is available in three different case finishes — titanium, polished 18K yellow gold, and polished black ceramic. All three operate with Caliber Hublot HUB1112, a self-winding movement with a 4 Hz frequency, 21 jewels and 42 hours of power reserve.
Like the Classic Original, there is a porthole-like satin finished bezel with 6 H-shaped titanium screws. It should be noted that ‘hublot’ translates to ‘porthole’. The dial is finished in black lacquer. Hublot is limiting the gold case to only 100 units and just 200 for both the titanium and ceramic cases.
