HAVEN has teamed up with New Balance to give a new look to its signature 990v5 sneaker. This version synthesizes utilitarian and high-end materials that make it a comfortable sneaker with an eye-popping appeal. The sneaker’s toe box and side paneling are comprised of Cordura AFT mesh that’s durable yet breathable. That mesh conceals reflective material that lays beneath it. The reflective material is dormant until it is activated by light to shine brightly, giving you greater visibility during a night out. Those practical design elements are accented by pigskin suede and Horween leather that adds a luxurious feel to a minimalist black colorway.
The HAVEN x New Balance 990v5 also prominently displays the New Balance “N” logo on its side panel along with a Haven V5 emblem on its heel. The same reflective coating that lays beneath the mesh body of the shoe gives some extra pop to each of those logos.
