It’s probably unnecessary to worry about spoilers when discussing a film that’s nearly five years old. And really, who hasn’t seen Interstellar? But just to play it safe, we’ll refrain from revealing how this watch is used in the film. All we can say is that one of the main characters in the movie wears a Hamilton Khaki watch and uses it a crucial plot device.

However, the exact model used in the movie was made specifically for the movie by Hamilton and wasn’t a commercially available piece. That is, until now.

The Hamilton Khaki Field ‘Murph’ Auto is a faithful reproduction of the watch that played an important role in Interstellar. Its second hand even features the word “Eureka” printed with lacquer in Morse code. The watch comes in a box designed by the film’s Oscar-nominated production designer Nathan Crowley.

But this watch isn’t just for the sci-fi nerd. It’s a competent and attractive 42mm automatic field watch with 100 meters of water resistance and an 80-hour power reserve. The Hamilton Khaki Field ‘Murph’ Auto is limited to 2,555 pieces.
