Independent Swiss watchmaker H. Moser & Cie. has finally entered the world of ceramic cases with a stunning update to its Streamliner Tourbillon Concept. The new model renders both the 40 mm case and integrated bracelet in anthracite‑grey ceramic, a material prized for its light weight, scratch resistance and hypoallergenic properties.

Moser applies meticulous finishing, combining satin brushing on the case with polished bevels along the bracelet links for a play of textures that elevates the muted palette. The watch remains slim at 11 mm thick (12.8 mm including the domed sapphire crystal) and maintains 120 m of water resistance.

Contrasting the dark casework is a fiery red fumé Grand Feu enamel dial built on a hammered white‑gold base. Layers of transparent enamel create a gradient that fades to near‑black at the edges while burning bright in the centre. True to Moser’s Concept series, the dial is devoid of indices or logos; only two luminescent hands and a flying tourbillon aperture at 6 o’clock interrupt the red field.
Power comes from the in‑house HMC 805 movement, an automatic calibre featuring a one‑minute flying tourbillon and Moser’s double hairspring system to improve isochronism. A skeletonised 18‑carat red‑gold rotor adds warmth to the view through the sapphire caseback and delivers a three‑day power reserve.

As a permanent addition to H. Moser & Cie.’s catalogue, the Streamliner Tourbillon Concept Ceramic is not a limited edition, but the brand’s low overall production means only a handful will be made each year. Priced at $112,100, the watch positions itself among the most exclusive integrated‑bracelet sports watches on the market.
For collectors seeking a minimal yet technically advanced timepiece, Moser’s ceramic debut pairs modern materials with the Streamliner line’s signature 1920s‑inspired silhouette and offers a dramatic new way to experience the flying tourbillon.
