H. Moser & Cie. just launched the Heritage Bronze “Since 1828” Limited Edition at Dubai Watch Week. The brand’s Heritage line is modeled on Moser’s early wristwatches that were often exported to the Russian Empire, then the firm’s biggest market, which explains the Cyrillic H. Moser & Cie. logo on the dial of the “Since 1828.” Apart from the logo, another eye-catching detail on the Blackor fumé dial is the blocky applied numerals which were formed from a material called Globolight, a ceramic and Super-LumiNova mix that can be made in any color and carved into any shape imaginable. Green was the color chosen for the Heritage Bronze. To add a bit of modernity, the dial is finished with a railway minute track in white, with the sword-shaped hands accented with Super-LumiNova.
Made of a copper-aluminum bronze alloy, the case is 42mm in diameter and just 11.1mm high and features tapered lugs and a large notched crown. The H. Moser & Cie. Heritage Bronze “Since 1928” is powered by Moser’s in-house HMC 200, which boasts a free-sprung balance attached to Moser’s own hairspring, as well as a three-day power reserve which is visible through a crystal caseback. The watch is finished with a simple, black fabric strap and will be limited to only 50 pieces.
