A surprising number of men still use the same razor on their face and body, despite the obvious differences in hair type, skin sensitivity and surface area. Gillette’s solution is the GilletteLabs Body razor, engineered from the ground up to tackle chest, underarm and intimate hair without the nicks and irritation common with face razors.

The two‑blade cartridge is paired with an ‘Anti‑Irritation’ bar that passes over skin ahead of the blades to release trapped hairs, helping to prevent cuts. A second ‘Anti‑Ingrown’ bar separates the blades and absorbs hand pressure to reduce ingrown hairs. A long‑lasting lubrication strip keeps the head gliding smoothly for a comfortable shave from start to finish.

Thoughtful design continues in the handle. Compared with Gillette’s facial razors, the GilletteLabs Body handle is shorter with an increased arch and textured grip, making it easier to maneuver in hard‑to‑reach areas and secure in wet conditions. The razor also includes a magnetic hanger so it can be stored neatly in the shower. Gillette notes that 60 percent of men under 35 remove body hair, but 70 percent still use their face razor—hence the need for a purpose‑built tool.
Available now through major retailers, the GilletteLabs Body razor is intended to give men confidence, comfort and control during body grooming. Its triple protection system and ergonomic form address the nuances of non‑facial shaving, signalling a more considered approach to personal care that acknowledges how men actually use grooming tools.
