FUJIFILM is bringing back the X-M series with a bold focus on video creators. It is introducing the FUJIFILM X-M5—a compact, vlogging-friendly camera packed with features that cater to modern content makers. Departing from its entry-level predecessor, the X-M1, the X-M5 is designed for those who live on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram, making it the ultimate tool for capturing high-quality video on the go.
The FUJIFILM X-M5 is outfitted with a 26.2MP BSI CMOS X-Trans sensor, delivering impressive stills and 4K60 video performance. It omits an eye-level viewfinder, favoring an articulating touch screen perfect for composing and monitoring video while on the move. With three built-in microphones and dedicated vlogging modes, the X-M5 makes it easy to produce professional-grade content without needing extensive knowledge of camera settings.
The camera’s small size and lightweight design make it ideal for creators who need a portable, versatile tool. The Film Simulation engine also offers 20 analog-style presets for photos and videos, adding that signature FUJIFILM charm to your content. The X-M5 also supports Fuji’s Cooling Fan FAN-001 for long-form video recording, and accessories like the Tripod Grip TG-BTW complement its compact build for steady handheld shots.
The X-M5, priced at $800 for the body or $900 with a zoom lens kit, will arrive in silver this November, with the black edition coming in April 2025.
