Fujifilm has unveiled the Instax mini LiPlay+, a next-generation hybrid instant camera that redefines creativity with dual lenses, upgraded audio features, and a sleek, modern design. Building upon the original 2019 LiPlay, this new model combines instant film nostalgia with advanced digital versatility, offering users fresh ways to capture and share memories.

At the heart of the Instax mini LiPlay+ is the return of Fujifilm’s signature Instax Sound Print, which lets photographers record a three-second audio clip and attach it to prints via a scannable QR code. Building on this concept, the new Instax Sound Album feature enables users to create animated videos with sound, backgrounds, and music—bridging the gap between photography and motion. The addition of a second wide-angle rear camera unlocks layered photography, blending two perspectives into a single frame for dynamic, creative storytelling.

Connectivity also advances with the Instax mini LiPlay+ app, which enables Bluetooth control, remote shooting, and customizable editing with stickers, frames, and text. Users can even print smartphone images directly from the app. With automatic exposure, flash control, and self-timer modes, the LiPlay+ strikes a balance between ease of use and creative flexibility.
Available in Sand Beige and Midnight Blue, the Fujifilm Instax mini LiPlay+ is set to launch in late October for $235. A matching Instax mini Soft Glitter film, priced at $18, brings a shimmering touch to every print, making Fujifilm’s latest release as expressive as it is nostalgic.
