For its 25th anniversary, Formex is unveiling a timepiece that fuses technical innovation with cosmic allure: the Essence Space Ghost 41mm. Positioned between the brand’s 39mm and 43mm models, this new 41mm case delivers a perfectly balanced fit while enhancing everyday wearability with several functional refinements. Crafted from brushed 316L stainless steel with polished chamfered edges, the watch incorporates Formex’s patented Case Suspension System—an engineering marvel that combines shock resistance, flexibility, and supreme wrist comfort. At just 10.6mm thick and 75 grams without a strap, the piece retains sleek proportions while offering 100 meters of water resistance.

The dial is the true centerpiece, cut from a 4.5-billion-year-old Muonionalusta meteorite and stabilized through a proprietary treatment that preserves the striking Widmanstätten pattern. Galvanic rhodium plating brings out a silvery sheen, contrasted by blued steel hands and applied indices filled with Super-LumiNova BGW9. Each index is precision-fitted directly into the meteorite surface, underscoring the watch’s bespoke craftsmanship.

Inside beats the COSC-certified Sellita SW200-1 automatic chronometer, visible through the sapphire caseback with its custom skeletonized rotor and blued screws. The 4.3Hz movement delivers a 41-hour power reserve, tuned for accuracy and reliability. Complementing the technical prowess, Formex debuts a next-gen micro-adjustable butterfly clasp on its steel bracelet, with 0mm, 3mm, and 6mm quick settings for a perfect fit, plus redesigned screws for improved durability. Rubber, nylon, and leather strap options also feature the brand’s carbon fiber deployant clasp with a tool-free quick-release system.

Limited to just 150 pieces annually and priced from $2,190 ($2,290 on bracelet), the Essence Space Ghost 41mm encapsulates Formex’s pursuit of engineering art and wearable innovation. Deliveries begin mid-September, cementing this meteorite-dialed marvel as a future collectible for enthusiasts seeking rarity, durability, and cosmic storytelling.
