Some of the best new apparel of 2025 has come from smaller brands that focus on exquisite craftsmanship to deliver high-quality products that withstand the test of time. Both Filson and Freeman fit this definition, having honed small-scale clothing manufacturing into a fine art.

The two brands have recently teamed up for a new clothing collection, featuring a durable, wool-lined raincoat and lined studio pants for mid-winter. Each item takes on classic clothing and heritage materials, elevating the concept with a splash of contemporary design.
First in the Filson × Freeman collection is the Wool-Lined Raincoat, available in muted Dark Tan and Amber Spruce, featuring a water-resistant waxed Cover Cloth shell for expeditions in inclement weather. It’s a timeless design that incorporates woolen linking and cotton sleeves, complemented by interior-stow hand pockets for extra warmth.
Additional features of the raincoat include a precisely structured hood to keep rainwater from the eyes, a chin-high zipper, and securable cuffs to seal out the weather. Complementing the jacket is the Lined Studio Pant, which continues the Filson × Freeman collection’s use of snug fabrics, superior stitching, and timeless style.
Made from 12-ounce twill fabric and lined with a warm cotton flannel, the pants pair well with the jacket for versatile wearing. A highlight for the end of 2025, the Filson × Freeman collection delivers the kind of resilience and performance demanded by bush pilots, outdoorsmen, and ranchers.
