Ferrari has lifted the covers on the SF‑26, its contender for the radical 2026 Formula 1 regulations.

With rules changes described by team boss Frédéric Vasseur as the biggest overhaul in 25 years, engineers started the project from a clean sheet to meet stringent aerodynamic and power‑unit requirements.

The car adopts aero surfaces designed to optimise ground‑effect downforce under lower energy budgets, while the hybrid power unit must deliver strong performance on sustainable fuels.

Behind the wheel, Ferrari fields Charles Leclerc and seven‑time champion Lewis Hamilton, forming one of the most formidable pairings on the grid. Vasseur emphasised that the team remains open‑minded during development, acknowledging that concepts will evolve rapidly as the season approaches.

The launch car showcased Ferrari’s signature red livery and fresh sponsorship branding, hinting at the commercial significance of the new era.

For fans of speed and engineering innovation, the SF‑26 represents a pivotal moment as Formula 1 enters its next chapter.
