The watchmaker Farer, whose products are designed in Britain and crafted in Switzerland, gets its name from “-farer,” as in wayfarer or seafarer, and in that vein celebrates the spirit of exploration and adventure in all of its releases. Luxury timepieces with the grit to withstand the rigors of travel— to go anywhere your questing wanderlust might take you — constitute the recently released Farer Field Watch Collection.
The heart of the Farer Field Watch Collection is the Sellita SW221-1 automatic movement. Note the unique “A” pointer on the dial indicating the date. The ultra-high contrast SLN Grade A lume used on the watch face provides high visibility for night time adventures. Three dial color options exist available across a trio of Farer Field Watch models: The textured olive face of the Exmoor, the matte navy blue of the Lomond, and the contrasting matte white and navy-blue sector design of the Pembroke. These watches are plenty rugged thanks to their 316 marine-grade stainless-steel 38.5mm cases and water resistance to 200 meters, and each comes with three different quick-release straps made, respectively, of American Horween leather, waterproof nylon NATO, and (for a bracelet) 316 marine-grade steel.
