Heaven Hill has expanded its Elijah Craig portfolio with a 15‑year‑old single barrel expression that showcases the brand’s mastery of aging. Bottled at 108 proof (54 % ABV), the limited release spends a decade and a half in charred new American oak casks, accumulating layers of roasted nuts, toasted oak, vanilla and baking spices.

Each barrel is hand‑selected by the distilling team, and the bourbon is non‑chill‑filtered to preserve its full body and natural oils. While Elijah Craig already offers an 18‑year single barrel, this younger sibling delivers a more assertive flavor profile at a slightly lower age and price.

The new bottling will roll out to select U.S. markets with a suggested retail price of $149.99. It arrives as part of a renewed interest in age‑stated whiskeys, especially among enthusiasts seeking transparency and depth. Heaven Hill notes that May 4, 1964 — the date bourbon was declared America’s native spirit — inspired the release timing, underscoring the brand’s reverence for heritage.
