Named for the small manufacturing town of Borgo Panigale, Ducati’s collection of sports motorcycles is a dramatic interpretation of Italian craftsmanship. The Panigale V4 is the crescendo of this play, marking a memorable chapter in Ducati’s history.

In what the brand calls a “symphony of performance and emotions” this new bike is completely Italian in it bombastic qualities. It’s also the first mass-produced Ducati motorcycle to be equipped with a 4-cylinder engine, which is influenced by the Desmosedici of the MotoGP.

The V4 replaces Ducati’s famous 1299 at the top of their supersport range. It tops out with enhanced performance and ridability, bringing enjoyment and energy to rookie riders and veterans alike. The Panigale V4 was developed in close collaboration with Ducati Corse, utilizing the knowledge and technology of the racing world to create a road bike that is as close to a MotoGP that you can get.

The V4’s body is muscular while still retaining its elegance. It draws heavily on its Italian sporting roots, with large soft surfaces punctuated by little daring marks. A three-color livery, billet steering plate with screen printed logo and progressive number, and a seat covered in premium Ultrasuede provide additional touches.

Power and functionality are perfectly married in Ducati Performance’s titanium racing exhaust by Akrapovic that delivers 226 horsepower. The bike’s Desmosedici Stradale engine brings the MotoGP experience closer with its incredible power and torque values. Its counter-rotating crankshaft and four valves per cylinder with desmodromic distribution reaches 214 maximum horsepower at 13,000 rpm and 122 Nm of maximum torque at 10,000 rpm.
