DJI is no stranger to pushing the boundaries of compact tech, but with the launch of the Osmo Nano, the brand may have just redefined what an action camera can be. Measuring just 57mm long and weighing a mere 52 grams, the Nano is DJI’s smallest action cam to date, yet it delivers a feature set on par with its flagship Osmo Action 5 Pro. With a 1/1.3-inch sensor, 13.5 stops of dynamic range, and 4K/120fps recording, this tiny powerhouse is engineered for creators who want pro-level footage without lugging around bulky gear.

The Nano is designed to work seamlessly with its Multifunctional Vision Dock, which adds a screen, boosts battery life, and doubles as a wireless remote with live previews. On its own, the DJI Nano delivers 55–60 minutes of 4K/30fps recording, but this duration can be extended up to 200 minutes at 1080p/24fps when the drone is docked. It’s also waterproof up to 10 meters, while the dock offers splash resistance for everyday adventures.

The camera features gesture controls that allow you to start recording with a nod of your head or a tap — perfect when gloves or helmets get in the way. Add to that dual wireless microphone support, pre-record options, and enhanced stabilization, and you’ve got a creator’s dream in pocket form. Starting at $309 for the 64GB version, the Osmo Nano is launching globally but will skip an immediate U.S. release.
For anyone craving cinematic shots in the smallest possible package, the DJI Osmo Nano is proof that good things really do come in small, waterproof, 52-gram packages.
