The forever impressionable, never disappointing, and entirely new De Tomaso P72 eagerly beckons from the not too distant future. The modern-day classic was revealed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. It pays homage to De Tomaso’s illustrious history, and features endless curves, a teardrop glasshouse, and a cockpit style cabinet.
The De Tomaso P72’s exquisite interior boasts a gleaming polished copper and diamond pattern finish. In fact, the distinctive pattern can be found on everything from the roof of the cabin, to the steering wheel, seats, and gear lever. The manual transmission includes an exposed linkage. The alluring exterior and glamorous interior have car enthusiasts chomping at the bit to discover what lies beneath the hood. Unfortunately, with just 72 models being crafted and a price tag of €750,000, only a few lucky buyers will be able to discover the true power of the supercar upon its release in 2020.
