Celebrating a decade since its renaissance, Czapek marks the milestone with one of its boldest creations to date: the Time Jumper, a futuristic reinterpretation of a 19th-century François Czapek pocket watch. Limited to 100 pieces in stainless steel and 30 in yellow gold, this 40.5mm half-hunter wristwatch blends classical craftsmanship with a sci-fi-inspired aesthetic—right down to its “flying saucer”-shaped case and hypnotic guilloché cover.

At the heart of the Time Jumper is the entirely new caliber 10.01, the first in a next-generation family of in-house movements. Built around an adaptive architecture, it features a patent-pending jump-hour complication displaying 24 hours across two sapphire discs, paired with trailing minutes on a rotating peripheral track. A central skeletonized rotor in recycled 950 platinum reveals open bridges, concentric curves, and Czapek’s signature five-spoke wheels—all finished in Haute Horlogerie fashion with rhodium-coated bridges over blackened plates.

The half-hunter cover introduces one of the watch’s most arresting elements: a Singularité guilloché pattern that creates an optical illusion reminiscent of a spiraling black hole. At its center, a bubble-shaped loupe showcases the hour display, turning the watch face into a miniature “cockpit.” Open the cover, and the full architecture of the movement is revealed—complete with flying tourbillon, a seven-day power reserve, and a distinctive three-segment power-reserve display.
With only 130 Time Jumpers planned for initial release and the remaining movements reserved for future special projects, Czapek delivers a piece that feels both rooted in tradition and strikingly avant-garde. It’s a watch that doesn’t just tell time—it bends your perception of it.
