The Florida-based Crown & Buckle watch strap brand, started producing their nylon straps three years ago to provide attractive yet affordable options to customers. What resulted is a collection of high quality, braided straps in a variety of sizes.
Each strap is inspired by the original braided nylon watch straps that hit the scene as an alternative to rubber straps. Crown & Buckle’s namesake Perlon is a reference to perlon material which is used in the wide nylon strands that make up the straps. As a result, the weave and look are fitting for both vintage and contemporary watches with a sophisticated yet durable appeal and breezy aesthetic.
The strap comes in a black colorway with a brushed adjustable-length stainless steel buckle. The strap is ultrasonically welded to affix the material and keep it from fraying. The buckle itself also serves as a keeper along with an extra floating nylon keeper too. The watch strap comes ready-made in a 9″/230mm length, but can be easily shortened with the help of its adjustable ladder buckle to suit any type of wrist size.
