Converse and Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design are teaming up once again to create a new rendition of the classic Converse Weapon. This latest collaboration, set to be released on May 11th, is expected to turn heads and capture the attention of sneaker enthusiasts.

Fujiwara, who is known for his innovative and unique design techniques, has incorporated fragment’s signature design cues into the Converse Weapon. The “Sport Royal” color scheme animates the collar and sidewall logos, while the panels at the top of the toe and “Y-Bar” at the heel deviate in a pitch-black tone, creating an iconic color scheme that the designer is well-known for.

The Converse Weapon by fragment features a white leather construction that gives it a minimalistic look. Underfoot, the joint effort opts for a slightly-yellow finish, delivering a vintage aesthetic in the process. The lightning bolt logos are stamped into the lower lateral heel, providing an interesting addition to the shoe’s overall design. As expected with any collaboration of this magnitude, an apparel collection will accompany the shoes, including a wool varsity jacket.

The Converse x FRGMT Weapon is set to retail for $140 USD and will be available for purchase starting on May 11 at 10 AM EST via converse.com. If you’re a fan of sneakers, particularly those with a unique design and color scheme, then you’ll definitely want to add this latest collaboration to your collection.
