Clicks believes there’s still a place for a purpose‑built communication device in a sea of touchscreen slabs. The new Clicks Communicator looks like a BlackBerry reboot, but its focus on doing rather than doomscrolling makes it stand out. The phone’s premium typing experience comes from a touch‑sensitive QWERTY keyboard with ergonomically sculpted keys that deliver satisfying feedback. A side key enables voice input on demand, turning spoken notes into text or starting a recording at the push of a button. An integrated fingerprint sensor hidden in the spacebar provides quick unlock security.

Communications get triaged through a bespoke message hub that funnels texts, emails and chats from your favourite apps into a single home screen. Each notification can even flash a different colour thanks to the programmable LED signal strip along the top. Beyond messaging, the Communicator supports Android 16 apps, has a 4,000 mAh silicon–carbon battery with Qi2 wireless and USB‑C charging, and offers 5G connectivity via nano‑SIM plus eSIM. Inside its compact 130.5 × 78.6 × 12 mm shell you’ll find 256 GB of storage (expandable to 2 TB), a 50 MP rear camera, 24 MP front camera and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Swappable back covers let you personalize the look, and a physical kill switch cuts power to cameras and microphones when privacy matters.

Early‑bird reservations require a $199 deposit, locking in a $399 launch price before it rises to $499. It’s designed to complement a flagship smartphone rather than replace it, but anyone who misses the tactile feel of a keyboard will appreciate the Communicator’s back‑to‑basics focus on communications.
