Vintage flat tracker design and hands-on clay design meet the modern genius of Nick Graveley. This spawned the Claymoto FX Flattracker. Part old-school design, part technological wonder, this bike started off as a stock FX before Graveley overhauled its design, giving it flat tracker status.
Known for his clay designs, Graveley spent 80 hours painstakingly chipping and shaping the clay so that it exactly matched his vision for the bike. Here’s where the process became a bit like Frankenstein’s machine: Graveley then scanned his clay design so it could eventually be created in carbon fiber.
Starting with a 2017 Zero FX bike as his base, Graveley modified the front and rear suspension slightly to give it a shortened stroke, laced the stock FX hubs to 19″ SunRims and added a chain and sprocket as a replacement for the stock belt drive. Relocations of the speedometer and the rear brake kept the clean tracker look fresh.
