Just in time for summer, CLAE introduces its Play Collection, the brand’s colorful take on tennis-related apparel. Inspired by the ‘90s, this limited capsule consists of two versions of the MALONE LITE sneaker, a t-shirt, Tie-dye socks, and a set of three tennis balls. Made with the CLAE philosophy of focusing on “upcycling, organic, vegan, and innovative materials,” these pieces are adorned with organic and/or recycled materials.
Included in the new capsule collection is CLAE’s MALONE LITE sneaker, which is a reworked version of the iconic CLAE model. The limited-edition sneaker sports 100% recycled polyester for breathability, a lining made from plastic bottle waste, and an outsole composed of 30% natural rubber obtained from the latex sap of a tree. A touch of contrasting color is found on the heel tab, and the insole is adorned with the slogan “Play SUNRISE to SUNSET.” The CLAE logo is found on the tongue with a tennis ball graphic that completes the design. The shoe has the brand’s Premium Court sole for stability and an EVA footbed for extra comfort. Choose from either Smoke Suede Green Banana or White Leather Blue Green color options. Each set of sneakers comes with matching tennis balls.
The CLAE t-shirt presented in this capsule is limited to 200 pieces and is made in Portugal with 100% organic cotton. The short features the words “Play SUNRISE to SUNSET” on the chest with an impressive CLAE Los Angeles branding on the back. It is offered in blue/pink and is coupled with the same tennis ball graphic seen on the Malone Lite sneaker. The exclusive Tie-dye socks come in three colors, Blue/Purple, Purple/Pink, and Yellow/Green. They are made of 75% cotton and 25% elastane, with one size fitting all. Included in the capsule are sets of three branded tennis balls in pink, green, and blue.
