Although air travel has become something we take for granted, if you consider the fact that you can circle the globe in a metal tube in mere hours, aviation is a technological marvel and one of man’s greatest achievements. The Christopher Ward C8 UTC Worldtimer captures the wonders of flying and makes life easier for frequent flyers that need to keep track of time on multiple time zones.
Named after the UTC (Universal Coordinated Time) that’s used in aviation, the C8 UTC Worldtimer even embodies aviation in its design, with designer Adrian Buchmann drawing inspiration from the gauge clusters of Spitfire fighter jets used by the Royal Air Force during WWII. The rotating worldtimer bezel displays prominent international cities, allowing the wearer to find out the local time at a glance. There’s also a fourth hand and contrasting inner bezel to differentiate between day and night time. The classic military aviation inspired watch has a 44mm case and is available in stainless steel or black DLC finish with sapphire crystal.
