Campfire Audio has recently reached its tenth anniversary, and the brand is celebrating this milestone with a limited-edition release that captures a decade of sonic innovation and technological exploration. The Campfire Audio ANDROMEDA 10: SE showcases the manufacturer’s rich legacy in style, with an elevated approach to performance housed in a stunning ergonomic body.
Designed to serve as both a celebration and a retrospective of the brand’s event-packed history, the ANDROMEDA 10: SE delivers a fittingly refined audio experience for music lovers. Featuring an expanded driver configuration with an impedance of 8.5Ω at 1kHz and a frequency response of 5Hz to 20kHz, it’s a high-performance earphone that doesn’t compromise on quality.
There are ten balanced armature driver configurations at work in the Campfire Audio ANDROMEDA 10: SE, marking a doubling of the original five-driver system utilized in the classic Andromeda mode. Low, mid, and high frequency ranges all benefit from the upgrade, presenting music with impressive clarity and fidelity through superior acoustic engineering.
These impressive components are housed in an equally premium casing, made from precision-machined PVD black stainless steel, and finished with black or gold real Damascus steel lids. Whichever version you opt for, the Campfire Audio ANDROMEDA 10: SE comes finished with gold fastener rings and a contrasting CA logo.
With custom cables featuring 7N OCC gold-plated copper conductors to further enhance audio quality, and continuing the gold and black color theme, the Campfire Audio ANDROMEDA 10: SE serve as a fitting tribute to the brand’s anniversary celebrations. The special-edition versions of the Andromeda 10 will be released first. They’ll be up for pre-order in late September, with shipments expected to begin in mid-October. They cost $2,499.
The Andromeda 10 in classic green finish will be significantly more affordable, at $1,699. According to the brand, they will be available “in the coming months” after the special edition shipments are completed.
