Sport watches are all the same, right? A digital face, rubber bracelet, and maybe a few stop watch features. Sure, there are plenty of mundane watches to be had, but the BVLGARI Gérald Genta Arena Bi-Retrograde Sport is anything but mundane. This beautifully crafted Bulgari timepiece is an homage to the Swiss visionary watchmaker and designer, Gerald Genta, who introduced new ways to read time with his retrograde and bi-retrograde movements.

This watch doesn’t use the traditional two or three hand design. Instead, on top there is a 0 to 60 display, more like a classic speedometer than a clock. When the hand hits 60 it will then snap back to zero. The same happens with the date display. Central to the watch is the hour time. While a different design, it’s a breeze to use. The case of the sport watch’s diameter is 43 mm and just 12 mm thick. With its lightweight titanium construction, this stunning timepiece is water resistant up to 100 meters, has a 42-hour power reserve and features a black crocodile leather strap.
