Featuring professional surfers such as Kelly Slater, Stephanie Gilmore, and Sally Fitzgibbons, Breitling’s Surfers Squad is committed to keeping the world’s oceans and beaches protected and pristine. Partnering with the Ocean Conservancy, the Surfers Squad recently organized beach-cleaning initiatives to celebrate the launch of the limited edition Breitling Superocean Heritage Ocean Conservancy.
This 44mm stainless-steel chronometer is driven by the Breitling Caliber 13 automatic movement and offers outstanding diving functionality with 200 meters of water-resistance, shock-resistant unidirectional rotating bezel, blue Super-LumiNova hands and indices, and a luminescent central dot at 12 o’clock.
The Superocean Heritage Ocean Conservancy also incorporates a number of environmentally friendly elements including interchangeable blue-striped and plain blue satin NATO straps composed of ECONYL yarn – a material that is made by repurposing abandoned fishing nets and other forms of nylon waste. Each of these 1000 watches is also packaged in 100% recycled material.
