Recently announced at Baselworld 2018, Breitling is making some big changes to its lineup as the brand goes back to its roots with the Navitimer 8 collection. Named after the brand’s aviation instrument clocks from the WWII era, the Navitimer 8 line takes design cues from both the historical accuracies and possibly customer feedback over the years (that cried the watches were too busy and unreadable). From the 5 models in the lineup, what caught our eye was the Breitling Navitimer B35 Unitime, the worldtime version of the new Navitimer.
The watch features an in-house automatic movement within a 43mm x 14.55mm stainless steel case, 70 hour power reserve, bi-directional rotating bezel, glare-proof sapphire crystal, display case back, and a very convenient jumping local hour that makes setting dual time a breeze. And with 100m of water resistance and a modern design, the Breitling Navitimer B35 Unitime is undoubtedly one of the sportiest worldtimers currently on the market.
