As part of the Navitimer 8 line, the Breitling Aviator 8 Curtiss Warhawk Collection features three watches in a military green colorway that harkens back to the late 1930s and early 1940s (the years of production for the P-40 Warhawk). Several features on these watches reflect the groundbreaking onboard instruments that Curtiss-Wright developed.
The Curtiss Warhawk Collection consists of the basic 41mm three-hander (with an ETA-based Breitling caliber 17 with a 40-hour power reserve) as well as two 43mm chronographs – the Aviator 8 B01 Chronograph 43 Curtiss Warhawk (housing the COSC-certified in-house caliber 01 with the 70-hour power reserve) and the Aviator 8 Chronograph 43 Curtiss Warhawk (with the ETA-based Caliber 13 with a 42-hour power reserve). The image of the Warhawk is engraved on the case back for the Automatic 41 and the Chronograph 43, while the B01 Chronograph 43 bears a color image of the Warhawk on a display case back.
