For decades, Bowers & Wilkins’ 700 Series has brought trickle‑down technology from the company’s flagship speakers into more accessible designs. The new 707 S3 Prestige Edition takes that approach a step further by adding bespoke craftsmanship to its compact bookshelf model. Built on the standard 707 S3 platform, the Prestige Edition wraps the cabinet in a Santos Gloss veneer that’s finished with twelve layers of paint and lacquer and capped off with a special logo plate.

Underneath the polish, the speaker retains the 707 S3’s two‑way architecture featuring a decoupled Carbon Dome tweeter and a Continuum cone bass/midrange driver. B&W has also upgraded the tweeter grille mesh for improved dispersion and borrowed the low‑loss speaker terminals from the 705 S3 Signature, which collectively promise greater resolution and a wider soundstage.

The 707 S3 Prestige offers a frequency range of 45Hz–33kHz, a frequency response of 50Hz–28kHz (±3 dB) and a sensitivity of 84dB; nominal impedance is 8 ohms with a minimum of 4 ohms. Recommended amplifier power ranges from 30 to 100 watts. The cabinet measures roughly 300 × 165 × 247mm and weighs 6.2-kilograms per speaker.

Although the driver complement is unchanged, the cosmetic and terminal upgrades push the Prestige Edition into boutique territory. It’s priced at €1,750 or £1,550 per pair and will be available starting 21 January 2026. Fans of B&W’s limited runs will recall how the 700 Series Signature models added performance refinements and premium finishes to an already accomplished line.
