Life can be lonely for an intrepid explorer, but the BOLDR Expedition Swiss Automatic Field Watch is a worthy companion to have on the road.

This tough and tactical timepiece is designed to help you navigate life’s adventures and explorations. The watch’s military and vintage-inspired design includes a number of standout features that set field watches apart.

While the BOLDR Expedition is tough on the outside, it’s sleek on the inside. It comes packaged in a 316L stainless steel machined case with dual screw down crowns that adjust the time and date on the inner crown bezel, which make it easy to mark countdowns and time elapsed. For those lost in the woods, the watch can also be used as a compass. The Expedition runs off of an automatic Sellita SW200-1 movement with a hacking seconds hand that is reinforced by a diashock that keeps it ticking no matter what problem wearers might face.

As a field watch, it is rugged enough to withstand the elements. Its high-contrast display allows for speedy time telling with its matte dial, printed logo and subtitles, and inner minute track, with even the slightest glance. If you’re out in the night, the Expedition has you covered with a Swiss superluminova hour marker in two-tone colors for easy readability even in dim settings. Its second screw-down crown has a bright orange rim distinctive from the other crown so that you can control the rotating brass inner dial ring bezel.
