Blancpain’s latest dive watch release, the Fifty Fathoms Tech 5029, takes the brand’s most capable underwater tool and brings it into full production—no limited edition constraints, no compromises. Following up the 47mm Tech Gombessa and the refined Ocean Commitment IV, the new Tech 5029 hits the sweet spot with a wearable 45mm titanium case, a 300-meter depth rating, and Blancpain’s rugged calibre 1315A movement, delivering an impressive 5-day power reserve.

Built from Grade 23 brushed titanium, the case is both light and tough, equipped with a helium escape valve, a high-grip 120-click ceramic bezel, and a dial finished in “absolute black”—a material that absorbs 97% of ambient light for maximum underwater contrast. Blancpain’s commitment to serious dive functionality remains intact, but what makes this model different is its nod to everyday wearability and a touch of visual flair.

The 5029 marks a first for the Fifty Fathoms line: a quick-release, tool-free interchangeable strap system. With three included rubber straps—black, white, and a bold orange to match the TECH dial branding—this watch is no longer just for saturation diving. As Blancpain CEO Marc A. Hayek notes, the Tech line can now embrace both form and function, bringing a “lifestyle side” to one of the world’s most hardcore dive watches.
Priced at $22,700 and packaged in a reusable Peli case, the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Tech 5029 is ready to dive deep—and turn heads doing it.
