The Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Barakuda is a slim dive watch at 13mm with aesthetic beauty and refined technical craftsmanship. The first modern dive watch (and a thoroughly modern dive watch at that, with 300 meters of water resistance), this limited reissue of 500 pieces has its roots with the European frogmen. The first Barakuda edition was issued to the German navy in the 1960s, and both the military and civilian versions have long been highly coveted pieces among collectors.
This handsomely sized 40mm steel diver features the Caliber 1151 automatic movement with 95 hours of power reserve, unidirectional dive bezel, faux vintage accents, and sapphire crystal on both sides. The Fifty Fathoms Barakuda comes on a rubber strap.
