Benelli has been building rugged but approachable motorcycles for more than a century, and its latest release extends that philosophy to the entry‑level adventure segment. The BKX 125, unveiled this week, is a lightweight explorer designed for riders taking their first steps into back‑country touring. It offers the tall stance and off‑road styling associated with high‑capacity adventure bikes, but packages them around a modest 125 cc single‑cylinder engine.

That liquid‑cooled Euro 5+ motor produces around 15 horsepower and 12.1 Nm of torque, enough for weekend trail riding without intimidating novices. The engine sits in a steel trellis frame and is paired with a fully adjustable 41 mm fork and monoshock that deliver 180 mm of suspension travel. The long‑travel setup helps the bike glide over potholes and gravel while the 3.2‑gallon fuel tank delivers an estimated 310‑mile range. Benelli quotes a seat height of 33.9 inches and ground clearance of 9.2 inches, which, combined with a dry weight of roughly 317 pounds, should make the bike manageable in city traffic and dirt roads alike.

The BKX 125’s styling, executed by the in‑house Benelli Style Center, echoes its larger siblings. Full LED lighting, handguards with integrated turn indicators and a front beak give it a purposeful look. Dual disc brakes with ABS, a digital dash and four vibrant color options—Nordic White, Cement Grey, Avio Blue and Dune Sea—complete the package.

The bike is slated to arrive at Benelli dealerships in early 2026 and is priced around £3,499 in the U.K., making it one of the most affordable true adventure machines on the market.
