Bang & Olufsen just turned 100, and they’re celebrating with sound that looks as good as it performs. Enter the Atelier Limited Edition Art Deco, a jaw-dropping reinterpretation of the brand’s iconic Beolab 28 speakers and Beovision Theatre, steeped in the opulence of 1920s design. Limited to just 100 units worldwide, this $65,000 system is more than luxury audio—it’s an heirloom-grade fusion of acoustics and architecture.

Crafted from dark rosewood and chestnut-anodized aluminum, the Atelier Edition channels the spirit of Art Deco with bold geometry, rich textures, and exquisite detailing. Alternating lamella panels mimic the rhythmic facades of the era’s buildings, while precision-etched patterns subtly mark each of Bang & Olufsen’s 100 years with engraved strokes hidden in the design.
The attention to detail is nothing short of obsessive. A matching rosewood case holds a custom Beoremote, etched in aluminum and nestled alongside certificates of authenticity. The B&O Beosound Theatre’s wooden top cover is sculpted with a radial sunburst motif, not only nodding to Deco design but also enhancing acoustic transparency. And the Beolab 28’s floating acoustic lens, ringed in a finely machined radial pattern, stands as a sculptural anchor to the entire system.
It’s a celebration of legacy through craftsmanship, where every line, material, and tone has purpose. Sound this beautiful doesn’t come around often, nor does a century of design mastery.
