Tag Heuer and Bamford Watch Department have reunited for a new collaboration to produce the exclusive 43mm Aquaracer diver’s watch. The limited-edition Aquaracer features a number of eye-catching characteristics. With its bold orange details and titanium finishing, this is a real standout timepiece. The watch features black-gold-plated hands with orange lacquer, a unidirectional rotating bezel, and a three-row sandblasted bracelet. The orange theme continues across the model, with dashes also appearing on the bezel and around the flange.
CEO George Bamford’s aim for the “luxury tool” Aquaracer is that it not be pampered by its owner. Rather, he envisioned a watch that could be worn surfing (it’s water-resistant to 300 meters), climbing, and mountain biking, among other rugged endeavors. Inside is the robust TAG Heuer Calibre 5 automatic movement with a power reserve of 38 hours. If the success of TAG Heuer’s last collaboration with Bamford on their iconic Monaco chronograph is anything to go by, this limited run of 1,500 watches will likely go quickly.
