Baltic’s Scalegraph returns with a more assertive identity, refining the brand’s vintage-inspired chronograph into a sportier, more capable watch. The new collection keeps the 39.5mm case diameter that helped define the original profile, but Baltic has reworked the 316L stainless steel case with sharper angles, wider lugs, and vertical brushing across the top of the lugs. The result is still recognizably Baltic, but with a stronger wrist presence and a more technical edge.
The most meaningful update is functional. Baltic equips the new Scalegraph with screw-down pushers and increases water resistance to 100 meters, making the watch better suited to everyday wear and more robust than a traditional dress-leaning chronograph. A double-domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating completes the case assembly, preserving the vintage feel while adding modern durability.
The collection is available in three dial configurations: champagne, blue, and grey. The champagne and grey versions use metallic finishes, while the blue model receives a glossy dial. Each is paired with a matching brushed aluminum tachymeter bezel, reinforcing the watch’s motorsport-adjacent personality without pushing it into oversized tool-watch territory. Baltic contrasts the main dial colors with three off-white azurage subdials, framed by polished rings that add depth and visual separation.
Legibility remains central to the design. Polished steel dauphine hour and minute hands are paired with applied markers and a round index on the minute track, all treated with Super-LumiNova BGW9 for low-light readability. It is a subtle application of lume, but one that gives the Scalegraph a more practical character while preserving the clean, mid-century-inspired dial architecture.
Inside is the Sellita SW510-M, a Swiss mechanical hand-wound chronograph movement with a 63-hour power reserve and stop-seconds function. The manual-winding caliber suits the Scalegraph’s vintage personality, while the extended power reserve gives it the practicality expected from a contemporary chronograph. It also helps position the watch as more than a design exercise, giving the updated case and dial a movement worthy of the package.
Baltic offers the Scalegraph on an Italian calf leather strap, a steel beads-of-rice bracelet, or a steel flat-link bracelet. Pricing starts at €1,640 excluding taxes on leather, while bracelet-equipped versions are listed at €1,700 excluding taxes. Deliveries are scheduled to begin June 29, 2026.
With this update, the Scalegraph moves closer to the space occupied by serious everyday chronographs. It remains elegant and vintage-minded, but the stronger case geometry, screw-down pushers, 100m water resistance, and hand-wound Sellita movement give it more substance.
