Audioengine’s home music systems pack a surprising amount of punch and range into their compact forms, exemplified in the manufacturer’s latest release, the Audioengine HD3 Next Gen Home Music System. A robust wireless speaker with endless connectivity options, it’s a welcome addition to the brand’s range of compact yet dynamic speakers.

Representing an upgrade over the brand’s previous iteration, the Audioengine HD3 Next Gen Home Music System is geared towards music fans with limited space to play with. Incorporating Class A and B amplification, it splits duties between a passive and active speaker to allow users to optimize their cable routing.

The Audioengine HD3 Next Gen Home Music System also comes with an onboard headphone amp for private listening, with a 3.5mm jack for quick connectivity. As a wireless speaker, it excels, featuring Bluetooth 5.3 with support for aptX Adaptive, aptX LL, aptX, AAC, and SBC, ensuring compatibility with all potential devices.

In terms of specs, the Audioengine HD4 Next Gen Home Music System promises to deliver spacious and rich music with 30W RMS per channel and 60W per channel AES, for a combined 120W of peak power. The speaker casing houses a 4″ aramid fiber woofer and a 0.75″ silk dome tweeter, with performance enhanced through the neodymium magnets.

With a clean frequency response range from 60 Hz to 22 kHz, and Satin Black, Walnut, and Hi-Gloss Piano color variations to choose from, the Audioengine HD4 Next Gen Home Music System is a stylish performer for casual music listening.
