When Arc’teryx launched its Kragg slip‑on in 2024, the moccasin‑inspired climbing and hiking shoe quickly found a home among travelers and commuters who appreciated its easy on‑off functionality. For 2026 the brand has listened to feedback and revised the design to better serve how people actually wear it.

The new Kragg retains the collapsible heel concept but rebuilds it with an engineered knit construction and an integrated pull tab that makes slipping the shoe on and off far more intuitive. The upper now uses a durable jacquard‑woven material with a stretch‑knit runway down the center to improve airflow and ease of entry.

Underfoot, the updated shoe uses an INSITE PU drop‑in midsole for cushioning and stability. It sits above a Vibram Megagrip outsole with 2 mm lugs tuned for traction on mixed surfaces. The stack height measures 24 mm at the heel and 17 mm at the forefoot — a comfortable profile for long days of walking. Weight is a manageable 11 oz per half pair. Arc’teryx has also introduced new colorways for men, including Void/Black and Sea Salt/Sea Salt alongside all‑black and Moondrop. Perhaps the best news for shoppers is the revised price: at $140, the new Kragg costs $20 less than the original launch model.

By embracing the travel‑shoe role its customers assigned to it, Arc’teryx has turned the Kragg into a genuine everyday companion. The improved heel, upgraded materials and subtle design tweaks make it more durable and easier to wear, whether navigating an airport, heading to the crag or commuting across town.

With its understated style and practical features, the updated Kragg continues Arc’teryx’s push into footwear while staying true to the brand’s reputation for technical excellence.
