Gear up for a game-changing shift in outdoor footwear as Arc’teryx, the renowned performance outdoor equipment company steps out on its own with the launch of its In-House Trail Footwear Collection for the spring 2024 season. After years of collaboration with Salomon, Arc’teryx is venturing into new territory, designing and creating its line of trail footwear entirely in-house.

Led by industry veteran Ovidio Garcia, vice president of footwear at Arc’teryx, the brand is focused on solving critical problems for the mountain athlete, aiming to deliver footwear that defies human limits in vertical mountain terrain. With a team of 12 experts dedicated to the category, the Arc’teryx In-House Trail Footwear Collection is set to introduce three innovative silhouettes: the Vertex Alpine GTX, Sylan GTX, and Kragg.

Each silhouette offers unparalleled performance and durability, with features tailored to meet the demands of mountain athletes. From the lightweight agility of the Vertex Alpine GTX, complete with sticky Vibram XS Flash 2 outsoles and Cordura uppers and the race-oriented Sylan GTX designed for speed and propulsion, to the Kragg, a model Arc’teryx described as a pull-on approach shoe for before, during and after the climb, the new Arc’teryx In-House Trail Footwear Collection pushes the boundaries of outdoor footwear. With prices ranging from $160 to $250, the collection will be available in March, promising to revolutionize the outdoor footwear market and redefine the mountain experience.
